ELKHART, Ind. -- Thor Industries has partnered with Harbinger Motors to create the first Hybrid Class A motorhome. The hybrid RV is built on an electric medium-duty chassis, produced by Harbinger in California, then shipped to Elkhart, where the home is attached.
It features a low-emissions gasoline range extender that provides a 500-mile range, around 100 miles more than the average RV. The range extender also charges the EV battery. The RV showcase rolls on through Thursday throughout the city of Elkhart.
