This candy filled season brings a famous 'candy man' to life

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - It's the regional premiere of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as it takes over the South Bend Civic Theatre this October.

Take a magical journey into Willy Wonka’s scrumptious and fanciful candy factory this Halloween season.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is a musical based on the hit 1964 children's novel of the same name by Roald Dahl.

This rendition includes the classic songs “The Candy Man” and “Pure Imagination” along with delicious new musical numbers from Marc Shaiman, the Tony-winning genius behind Hairspray.

Bring the whole family out to enjoy this candy themed extravaganza.

There's plenty of dates to see this production, starting October 13 and ending on October 29.

The South Bend Civic Theatre states this production may contain flashing lights.
