It's still steamy, the heat index will continue to peak in the mid-90s through Friday. Pop-up thunderstorms are likely with some localized heavy rain. The best chance of widespread rain and disruption to plans will be Friday evening. The weekend will be warm, and likely dry before the heat breaks Monday with more thunderstorms. The weather leading up to the Fourth of July will be more seasonal, with lower humidity.
Tonight: A few showers. Low 74.
Thursday: Scattered thunderstorms. High 92.
Friday: Scattered thunderstorms. High 90.
