GOSHEN, Ind. -- The Salvation Army kicks off it's 'Red Kettle' fundraising campaign, with this year's theme 'Hope for Tomorrow'.
The event happened at the Goshen Salvation Army Corps, with the annual fundraising campaign supporting community-focused programs and emergency assistance requests among those in need throughout the whole year.
"And we look forward to a wonderful season of fundraising. I am excited this year. I have hope that our fundraising is going to do better than it ever has before, and folks, we need it. We need your help to accomplish that as well," stated Major at Salvation Army Tim Nauta.
The Salvation Army is also calling for kettle sponsors and matching gift donors, both essential in creating donation challenges that in turn motivate mothers to give.
