Elkhart County Sheriff's Office investigating single vehicle crash

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. - Two people were injured in a single vehicle crash that occurred around 3 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon.

The vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed on C.R. 20 near C.R. 111 when it was forced to stop quickly, causing the driver to lose control and slide through the intersection, striking a utility pole. There was also one passenger in the car at the time of the incident.

Both the driver and passenger sustained minor-to-moderate injuries in the incident, and they were taken to Elkhart General Hospital for treatment. 

The Elkhart County Sheriff's Office is investigating the crash.
