The Blueberry Ranch in Osceola opened this week for the 2022 season.
This ranch was built in the late 1950's with a focus on 'U-pick' rather than commercial sale, where customers pick their own fresh, organic berries straight from the bush right at the ranch. Uniquely, it is the largest blueberry farm in the Midwest, and the largest 'U-pick' farm in the Midwest.
Guests can comfortably make their way through the grass rows to pick their berries rain or shine, but if you don't feel like going through the fields, the ranch has plenty of pre-picked blueberries you can buy.
The Blueberry Ranch features 7-8 different varieties of blueberries that can be used for a number of different products - just like the ones the ranch makes and sells. From blueberry salsa, to blueberry mustard and even blueberry lemonade - the ranch has it all!
The gates are open for visitors everyday of the week at 7 a.m. The ranch closes at 7 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 9 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays and 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
