Thanksgiving flights more expensive this year

Flying to be with family and friends for Thanksgiving will be more crowded and more expensive this year.

Nearly 24 million people are expected to fly between Friday, Nov. 16 and Tuesday, Nov. 27, that's according to trade group, Airlines for America.

It's an increase of about 150,000 passengers from last year. Airplanes could be close to 90 percent full on the busiest travel days.

Experts say to avoid headaches, consider flying on Thanksgiving Day.
