MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- The Marshall County Sheriff's Department arrested a Texas man on Tuesday after a deputy says he clocked him going 129 miles per hour in a 60 mph zone.
The deputy says he stopped the 2023 Dodge Challenger on US 30 and Iris Road and identified the driver as 63-year-old John M. Flowers, of Ingram, Texas around 9:11 p.m. on June 10.
"The driver had no reason why he was driving 129 mph in a 60 mph zone," authorities said. "Mr. Flowers was arrested for Reckless Driving (C Misdemeanor) and his vehicle was impounded by Lyon Wrecker service. Mr. Flowers was given a court date and a cash bond of $100."
