Temperatures going up along with our storm threat and wind gusts
ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast
Thursday, March 13, 2025
It will be a beautiful evening with temperatures in the 60s and 50s across Michiana. Mostly clear skies are expected early tomorrow morning for what should be a nice view of the total lunar eclipse! Peak eclipse time is just before 3 AM, but anytime from about 2:30-3:30 AM will work. The wind will pick up Friday as temperatures soar into the 70s. Thunderstorms will move through overnight into early Saturday morning. The main concern would be gusty, damaging straight-line winds. However, the tornado threat is non-zero. Make sure you have the ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather App ready in case there are any late-night warnings issued. Highs will be near 70 again Saturday, but winds could gust near 50 mph during the afternoon. Rain showers (possibly mixed with snow late) are possible into early Sunday morning. It'll still be a little breezy Sunday and MUCH colder with highs barely in the low 40s. Luckily, Saint Patrick's Day Monday looks pleasant with highs in the lower 50s.
Tonight: Mostly clear. Low 44.
Tomorrow: A mix of sun and clouds. Very warm and becoming windy. High 74. Thunderstorms travel through the area overnight into early Saturday morning.
Saturday: Rain/thunderstorms early, then partly cloudy and very windy. High 70. Winds could gust near 50 mph at times. Showers again possible at night.
Sunday: Cloudy and MUCH colder. High 43.
