Teenager shot in Elkhart, police confirm

ELKHART, Ind. – The Elkhart Police Department reports that a 17-year-old male was shot in the left foot on June 9 near the intersection of Bower Street and N. Michigan Street.
The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.
No arrests have been made and a suspect has yet to be identified.
