Teen driver cited following two-vehicle crash on S.R. 13

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- The Elkhart County Sheriff's Office reports deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of S.R. 13 and C.R. 10 around 9:43 p.m. Sunday.
The report states a 2020 Ford Edge, driven by a 45-year-old Shipshewana woman, was traveling north on S.R. 13 sound of C.R. 10.
Authorities say at the same time, a 2004 GMC Envoy, driven by a 17-year-old Shipshewana boy, was traveling west on C.R. 10 approaching S.R. 13.
Deputies say the 17-year-old failed to stop at the stop sign which led to the Edge crashing into him.
The Edge had no stop sign.
The driver of the Edge was taken to Elkhart General Hospital with a bruised head and complaints of head pain.
The Edge's passenger, a 46-year-old man, had complaints of knee pain but refused medical treatment.
The 17-year-old driver was uninjured and cited for Disregarding a Stop Sign.
