Target slashes jobs

Target is slashing jobs as part of a restructuring plan.

The company announced Tuesday that it plans to cut thousands of jobs in the next two years. The company didn't say where those job cuts would come but most are expected to be at the company's headquarters in Minnesota.

It also plans to invest billions of dollars this year to streamline operations, open more small stores and create a product mix that will appeal to a broader and younger demographic.
