NOW: Raiders beat Tigers 37-30 in clash of undefeated NLC teams to win conference title

MIDDLEBURY, Ind. -- In a battle of undefeated Northern Lakes Conference teams, Northridge got the best of Warsaw and brought home the program’s second ever NLC championship with a 37 to 30 win.

In a true back-and-forth thriller, the Raiders took the lead on a Jake Scholl touchdown to put Northridge up by seven with just a few minutes remaining in regulation.

Warsaw took advantage of the amount of time left on the clock and marched down the field, but the Raider defense came up huge when they were needed the most, as Hayden Gorball intercepted a pass to seal the win for Northridge.

After the win, Raiders’ head coach Luke Amstutz said “that was a fun game, hats off to coach Curtis and Warsaw, they battled, that was an incredible game, one of the best high school football games I've been a part of in years, awful proud of our kids, and a lot of fun.”

These two teams will now regroup, and turn their focus to next week, when the playoffs get underway.
