Suspects arrested after throwing objects over White House fence

WASHINGTON - At least two suspects were taken into Secret Service custody after officials say they threw objects over the north fence line of the White House Monday morning.

It was not immediately known what kind of objects were thrown, but a Secret Service agent told members of the media he believed the items to be a yoga mat and a sign of some sort.

The Secret Service reported on Twitter that the Washington D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating.
