NOW: Suspect named in fatal June shooting turns himself in

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- 19-year-old Derrick Myles has turned himself in to the South Bend Police Department, after being named as a suspect in the fatal June shooting of 16-year-old Alyyus Enoexpettiford. 

This comes after the SBPD held a press conference Aug. 22, releasing his name to the public as a suspect, after being unable to locate him prior.

St. Jospeh county Jail

The two charges, filed on July 11 against Myles, are for murder and firearm enhancement. 

Myles is currently being held at the Saint Joseph County Jail.
