Suspect charged in stabbing on Miami Street

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - A suspect has been charged in a stabbing that injured one person on South Bend’s southeast side early Sunday morning.
On Monday, the St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office charged 49-year-old David Hagedorn with battery by means of a deadly weapon and aggravated battery.
The charges stem from an alleged stabbing that happened just after midnight in the 1500 block of Miami Street.
One male with apparent stab wounds was found at the scene, according to police.
He was taken to the hospital for his injuries.
