We're wrapping up the weekend on a pleasant note, with highs reaching the 70s under sunny skies. Temperatures will cool into the 40s tonight, and you may wake up to some patchy fog Monday morning.
Above-average warmth will continue into the start of the workweek, with highs remaining in the low 70s thanks to a strong ridge over the region. However, a cold front is expected to move through on Tuesday, bringing temperatures back down to more seasonable levels by midweek. This front may also trigger a few showers from Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, though confidence remains low due to limited moisture.
A better chance for rain arrives later in the week, heading into the weekend.
Tonight: Mostly clear, cool. Patchy fog could develop. Low 48.
Monday: A few clouds, warm. High 74.
Tuesday: Gathering clouds, warm. High 72.
Wednesday: AM clouds, PM sun. High 63.
