ELKHART, Ind. -- Elkhart Police and Fire Department responded to the 2800 block of Cassopolis Street just a little after 6:40 p.m. for a report of a hit and run crash.
Elkhart Police Department tells ABC57 that the second involved vehicle left the scene and not yet been located.
Initial investigation indicates that a Buick Rendezvous was struck while pulling out of the Daylite Inn in Elkhart. After the crash, the Buick Rendezvous continued through the parking lot and hit La Michoacana Burgos LLC.
This remains an active and ongoing investigation, and we will update as we learn more.
