ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. --Keeping local taxes, local!
Summer's Spotlight speaks with South Bend Cubs President, Joe Hart, on the strong season start.
Off the field, the Cubs team highlights signing Senate Bill 326 into law, ultimately keeping $100 million in Hoosier taxes local.
The money will be given in increments over the next 20 years to enhance Four Winds Field and the city of South Bend.
The team has a lot of momentum to keep batting at another chance at the Midwest League Championship, as they sit 13 and 8 ranked 2nd in the Midwest's West Division.
