NILES, Mich. -- The Hunter Ice Festival will set up shot in downtown Niles starting Friday and running through Sunday. The annual event has been honoring the legacy of the Hunter Brothers Ice and Ice Cream Company for over 20 years.
ABC57's Summer Horan spoke with Lisa Croteau, the Director of Marketing and Administration of Niles Main Street, and Danny Bloss, one of the ice carvers whose work will be shown off at the festival.
They spoke of the history of the event, what people can look forward to this year, and the roughly 150 ice carvings that will be seen around downtown Niles.
You can learn more about the upcoming event on the Hunter Ice Festival website.
Plus, on Friday, ABC57's Sidney Moore will be live in Niles to take a look at the set-up for the big weekend event.
