Watermelon in hot car experiment
Mild weather lasts through Friday morning, the warming with sunshine each afternoon. Highs warming well into the 80s this weekend and push 90 degrees by Monday. The heat next week, while hot may not seem as hot as some recent days as the region has become much drier. The humidity will go up, but will seem less stifling than it did in early August. The bigger storyline is the lack of rainfall, which could last through Labor Day ( and beyond). It may not rain at all or of little significance.
Tonight: Mostly clear. Low 49.
Thursday: Sunny. High 78.
Friday: Mostly sunny. High 84.
Saturday: Partly cloudy.
