After a relatively calm and dry first half of the day, scattered showers and storms are expected to move in this evening. For those attending the game at Notre Dame Stadium, kickoff through halftime should remain dry, but spotty showers and thunderstorms are possible during the second half. Prepare for potential lightning delays, as some storms are likely to be embedded within the rain system.

Storm activity becomes more widespread later in the evening, with showers lingering continuing into the overnight hours. Rain chances increase Sunday into Monday, and cloud cover will continue to build throughout the week. Precipitation chances persist through Thursday, bringing much-needed relief to the expanding drought. Temperatures will gradually cool, becoming more seasonable as the week progresses.
