ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast
Sunday, October 5, 2025
It’s been another warm and dry day across Michiana, with highs in the 80s and a steady breeze out of the south. Fire danger remains elevated due to ongoing drought conditions and gusty winds. Burning of any kind is strongly discouraged, as fires could be difficult to contain in grassy areas and open fields.
Tonight, temperatures will dip into the 60s under mostly clear skies. The warmth holds on into Monday, with highs again in the 80s, before a cold front moves in Monday evening. Showers and thunderstorms are expected from Monday evening into Tuesday morning. Cooler, more seasonable air follows the front, bringing highs down into the 60s by midweek. Temperatures will gradually climb back into the low 70s by next weekend.
Tonight: Mostly clear. Low 62.
Monday: Increasing clouds, PM showers and storms. High 84.
Tuesday: Much cooler and seasonal, AM shower. High 68.
Wednesday: Sunny and mild. High 66.
