STARKE COUNTY, Ind.-- Jack Rosa Jr has won the Starke County Sheriff's race with 54% of the vote.

Rosa defeated Democrat Kelly Fisher and Independent Dennis Fornelli.

He will take over for Sheriff Bill Dulin who did not run.

Kelly Fisher (Democrat)

  • Won the primary election over Bracke Rowe, Robert Olejniczak and Harold Smith

Jack Rosa (Republican)

  • Won the primary election over Gregory Wireman
  • Spent 35 years in law enforcement, according to his campaign Facebook page.

Dennis Fornelli (Independent)

  • Running as an independent for sheriff
