Two women involved in stabbing incident

MISHAWAKA, Ind. - Mishawaka Police report they responded to the Beacon Hospital in Granger on Monday night around 11:22 p.m. for a stabbing.

Police spoke with a 24-year-old woman who had been stabbed three times.

The wounds were not life-threatening.

While authorities were at the hospital, a second call came in for an injured 23-year-old woman.

The second woman was calling from the Quality Inn on West University Drive.

Police say she had been battered, sustaining minor facial injuries.

The report states the two women know each other and this altercation occurred from an ongoing grievance between them.

Neither are currently in custody.

The two women are said to be the only parties involved and the case remains under investigation.
