St. Joseph's 2022 Chalk the Block runs August 5-7

ST. JOSEPH, Mich. - St. Joseph's annual Chalk the Block returns to Broad Street August 5 to 7 and features a number of amateur and professional artists showcasing their talents on the walkways of downtown.

During the festival, eventgoers can watch as artists transform asphalt into chalk art between Lake Boulevard and State Street.

Attendees can also vote for their favorite work of art at the People's Choice Tent on Broad Street.

Tickets to vote cost one dollar each.

Artists will prepare their pieces on Friday, work all day Saturday, and finalize their work on Sunday.
