ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The St. Joseph County Police announced on Thursday that its Sex Offender Registry Unit is actively looking for 35-year-old Nathan Brittain, who they say has failed to comply with sex offender registration requirements.

"Every year, sex offenders in St. Joseph County are required to report to the jail to update their information, including addresses and phone numbers," the SJCP said. "We currently track 460 offenders, and if they do not register by the end of February, we begin the search."

Brittain is described as a 5'11" white man weighing roughly 168 pounds.  The SJCP say Brittain is currently homeless
