CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- A South Bend man was hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash in Cass County Thursday afternoon.

Authorities say the collision happened at around 12:37 p.m. in the area of Decatur Road, near Dewey Lake Street in Volinia Township.

"The investigation showed that a vehicle driven by Lisa Keech 48-year-old, Allegan, Mich. resident was traveling north on Decatur Road," the Cass County Sheriff's Office said.

"The vehicle crossed the centerline into the southbound lane of traffic crashing into the vehicle driven by [a] 48-year-old, South Bend resident."

The South Bend man was taken by EMS to Corewell Health Lakeland St. Joseph Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
