ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. - One person was killed from a shooting on near the intersection of Olive Street and Elwood Avenue, St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit said.

Charles Edwards, a 41-year-old, was killed from the gunfire, according to CMHU. The family was notified.

Dispatch confirmed that St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit is investigating reports of a shooting on Elwood Avenue and Olive Street on Sunday.

The call came into to dispatch around 5 am.
