SSL to implement new train schedule following passenger feedback

South Shore Line

Officials with the South Shore Line have announced a new train schedule will go into effect on Tuesday, August 20.

SSL officials say the new schedule modifications come as a result of passenger feedback.

Besides incorporating passenger requests, SSL officials say it has received state approval for the discontinuance of weekend service to McCormick Place following a public comment period.

They add special McCormick Place service will still be offered for large events, like the Auto Show, Chicago Marathon, Comic and Entertainment Expo, etc.
