UPDATE: South Shore Line train back on schedule at SBN after tree cleared from tracks
ABC57 UPDATE TWO: As of 12:14 a.m., Tuesday, South Shore Line reported NIPSCO cleared the area and train service resumed to Hudson Lake and South Bend.
UPDATE: South Shore officials say westbound train #30 remains held at South Bend International Airport.
Due to this delay, officials say an extra westbound train #30 will depart Carroll Avenue on time to make its scheduled stops beginning with 11th Street Station at 4:35 p.m. CT.
The travel delay time remains unknown.
ORIGINAL STORY: SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- South Shore Line reports westbound train #30 is being held at the South Bend International Airport due to a fallen tree blocking tracks east of Hudson Lake Station as of 5 p.m., Monday.
Crews are currently heading to the scene.
Officials say the travel delay is currently unknown.
