South Haven woman arrested for multiple sex crimes and child exploitation

VAN BUREN COUNTY, Mich. -- It was announced on Thursday that the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office and the Michigan State Police have arrested a 30-year-old South Haven woman for multiple counts of criminal sexual conduct and child exploitation.

Authorities say they received a cyber tip regarding a possible child exploitation case and detectives conducted an investigation. On Aug. 22, a search warrant was executed on the suspect residence in the 04000 block of C.R. 687 in Geneva Township.

The suspect was located and, after further investigation, arrested and booked into the Van Buren County Jail.

  • One count of Criminal Sexual Conduct 1st
  • Two counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct 2nd
  • Four counts of Manufacturing Child Sexually Abusive Activity
  • Four counts of Using a Computer to Commit a Crime
