South Bend Schools make changes to meal distribution, WiFi days

The South Bend Community School Corporation has extended the breakfast and lunch program to include new locations and has modified the days meals are distributed along with the days WiFi is available.

The breakfast and lunch program now includes 10 WiFi bus sites Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

WiFi will no longer be available on Fridays and Saturdays.

Meals are available at the following locations, which are in addition to the school meal distribution sites:

Monday and Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

• Prairie Apartments, 2630 Prairie Ave., South Bend, IN 46614

Tuesday and Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

• CountrySide Mobile Home Park 1001 S. Mayflower Rd., South Bend, IN 46619

• St. Adalbert Catholic Church, 2505 W. Grace St., South Bend, IN 46619

This story has been updated to reflect an error in the district's release. Darden Elementary will continue to be a  meal distribution location and meals will continue to be distributed on Fridays.
