SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The South Bend Police Department reports three suspects have been charged in a murder case from February, but one suspect remains on the loose.

Police are seeking the public's help in locating 23-year-old Marshawn Johnson.

Johnson is believed to be in the South Bend area and should be considered armed and dangerous. If you see him, do not approach. Instead, call 911 for further assistance.

Police say on Feb. 1, James Stewart III was located deceased inside a vehicle near Johnson Street and Fassnacht Avenue. Stewart had been shot multiple times.

Through an investigation by the South Bend Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit, three suspects were identified: 23-year-old Demarko Robinson, 20-year-old Jamir Johnson, and 22-year-old Johnson.

The St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office has charged all three suspects with Murder and Conspiracy to Commit Murder.

Robinson and Jamir have been arrested and are being held in the St. Joseph County Jail.
