A 20-year-old South Bend man was arrested Friday morning for allegedly robbing a CVS and Low Bob's in less than an hour, according to police reports.
South Bend Police were dispatched to the CVS in the 2100 block of E. Ireland Road at approximately 10:30 a.m. for reports of an armed robbery.
At 11 a.m., South Bend Police were dispatched to Low Bob's in the 4400 block of S. Ironwood Street for reports of a robbery.
Police reports say 20-year-old Jose Salazar was arrested in connection with both robberies.
A Nearby photoshop employee Lisa Rice said she's surprised an armed-robbery took place in that neighborhood.
"I've never had any trouble and never felt unsafe I felt like it was fairly safe until now," Rice said.
