South Bend announces dates for Howard Park Summer Concert Series

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The City of South Bend Parks Venues and Arts announced the acts and date for the 2024 Summer concert series at Howard Park.

"Your first Fridays just got even better," the city said in a statement. "The Howard Park Summer Concert Series returns to Howard Park starting Friday, May 3 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m."

All the concerts in the series are free and take place on the Innovates Solar Event Lawn, behind the playground, at Howard Park.

"Enjoy musical genres such as rock, blues, pop, and Tejano," the city said. "Bring a picnic, bring some chairs, and bring your friends and family! We will see you on the lawn."

This year’s lineup includes:

• May 3: Backyard Vibes
• June 7: Marriani
• July 5: The Resurrection Blues Band
• August 2: DJ Visionaries
• October 4: Los Hermanos Bueno
