Snow returns Thursday PM, milder weather soon
Fog is slowly developing across Michiana this morning with visibilities less than one mile possible during the commute to work or school. Expect minor travel delays (5-10 minutes) in dense fog patches. A few scattered showers, but more likely spots of light drizzle, descend into our area later this morning beginning around 7 AM EST and are followed up by generally gloomy and damp weather the rest of our Tuesday. Highs still find their way into the low 40s despite the permacloud overhead. Lows drop to near freezing values tonight, but temperatures rebound quickly into the mid and upper 40s on Wednesday as cloud cover breaks up. The second half of Thursday looks to be our first significant rainfall of the year courtesy of a lifting warm front. Downpours and widespread showers will be common Thursday night through most of Friday. A transition back to a rain/snow mix awaits Michiana on Saturday.
Today: Drizzle. High 42.
Tonight: Drizzle. Low 33.
Wednesday: AM clouds, PM sun. High 44.
Thursday: PM rain. High 52.
