MICHIGAN -- Fix MI State has announced a campaign, starting in June, where five drivers each month can be awarded up to $800 by submitting the most impactful reports about potholes.

Fix MI State is a campaign designed around "giving drivers a platform to speak out" about potholes in Michigan and the state of Michigan's roads.

Michigan drivers can enter their pothole stories on the Fix MI State website alongside photos of their vehicle's damage and a receipt of the vehicle's repair cost once per month.

Five winners per month are selected to receive up to $800 from this pool, though entering at all does allow the Michigan Infrastructure & Transportation Association to use the submitted photos in campaign materials and on social media.
