Rain, wind, and milder temperatures forecast this weekend
FIRST WARNING NEIGHBORHOOD WX FORECAST
Saturday, August 31st, 2019
It won’t be the nicest of weekends, but we will see significantly more dry weather than rainy weather. Sun and clouds are expected today with highs in the mid-70s. A chance of showers exists tonight into the first half of Sunday, but that is not guaranteed for everyone. A storm is also possible during this window.
A brief surge of summer-like weather returns just in time for Labor Day Monday and Tuesday. Highs will rise into the low 80s Monday and upper 80s Tuesday under partly cloudy skies. The humidity will also be noticeable both days.
A strong fall cold front will put an end to the heat with highs in upper 60s Wednesday and 70s for the rest of the week. There will be a chance of showers and storms in association with that front as it slides through Tuesday night.
Looking well ahead, next weekend appears to be rather fall-like with high temperatures in the 60s and lows in the 40s with a slight chance of showers Saturday.
Today: Partly to mostly cloudy, high of 75.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy, chance of showers late, low of 60.
Sunday: Mostly cloudy, chance of showers early, high of 79.
Labor Day Monday: Partly cloudy skies, high around 81.
