SLIDESHOW: Storm damage in Bourbon after another night of severe storms
BOURBON, Ind. -- Marshall County Emergency Management held a press conference Thursday morning to discuss the cleanup efforts in the hard-town of Bourbon.
Bourbon officials say Indiana 211 has been activated for Marshall County.
You can call 211 with damage reports and questions to help crews find, record, and start recovery efforts more easily.
Officials say volunteers are being taken, with a list being put together at town hall.
Businesses interested in helping those in need can also go to town hall to share their information, to be added to a list to be used by residents.
The center point for communication on Thursday is 104 E Park Ave. in Bourbon.
Indiana Governor Mike Braun released the following statement regarding the severe storms that swept across the state:
"Last night, communities throughout Indiana were impacted by severe weather and tornados. The extent of the damage is still being assessed and our office is working with localities on any necessary next steps. During times like these, the best of our Hoosier hospitality shows in how we care for our neighbors and communities. I am also grateful for our public safety teams who are providing leadership and service around the state."
