SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A 49-year-old man has been charged with Dealing Methamphetamine following a search warrant being served in a drug investigation Tuesday morning.

Carter Scutchfield, the 49-year-old of South Bend, was charged with Dealing Methamphetamine as a Level 2 Felony and Possession of Methamphetamine as a Level 3 Felony.

Around 10 a.m. Tuesday, Indiana State Police officers served a search warrant in the 400 block of Birdsell Street following a drug investigation started in November 2025.

Officers claim they found the suspected methamphetamine, cocaine, controlled substances, and marijuana, as well as drug paraphernalia, in the residence.

Scutchfield was taken to the St. Joseph County Jail following this arrest.
