AKRON, Ind. -- This slideshow of storm damage near Akron, Ind. was compiled with photos taken by ABC57 Meteorologist Dave Caulfield.
Caulfield was at a farm close to the Fulton / Miami County line when he saw the storm damage. This area is being surveyed to determine if this damage was caused by a Tornado or Straight-Line Wind.
The trees on the property appear to be laying in multiple directions which would typically indicate a tornado.
Wind speed and path is TBD. Radar signature was only visible over 3 scans for about 20 minutes, ~ 8:20p to 8:40p EDT.
