PLYMOUTH, Ind—Saint Joesph Health System is partnering with South Bend Medical Foundation to host a blood drive next Tuesday, Dec.24, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Plymouth Medical Center.

Due to a decline in donations during the holiday season, health care professionals are urging the community to consider taking time out of their day to participate in the blood drive.

Additionally, doctors say there is a constant need for blood donations, whether it's for surgeries or treatments.

"Improving the health of our community is an important mission to ensure we progress in the wellness of others," organizers said.
