UPDATE: Vehicle of interest identified in deadly hit-and-run crash on M-152

UPDATE: A vehicle of interest has been identified in the May 24 hit-and-run crash that left Timothy Johnson dead.

The Cass County Sheriff's Office is asking the public to keep an eye out for a 2010 to 2012 black Ford Taurus with significant driver’s side damage.

Authorities have yet to receive Johnson's official autopsy report.

ORIGINAL STORY: CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- A 24-year-old man died after a hit-and-run crash Sunday morning on M-152 and Pleasant Street in Dowagiac, and the Cass County Sheriff's Office is looking for the driver.

Around 9:49 a.m. Sunday, deputies responded to the scene where Timothy Johnson, of Benton Harbor, had been walking until an unknown vehicle hit him.

Johnson was declared dead on the scene from his injuries. The incident remains under investigation.
