UPDATE: Silver Alert for 83-year-old Kokomo man cancelled

UPDATE: As of 12:30 p.m. on Friday, the Silver Alert for James Umbarger has been cancelled by the Indiana State Police. 

ORIGINAL: KOKOMO, Ind. -- The Kokomo Police Department has issued a Silver Alert and is investigating the disappearance of 83-year-old James Umbarger. 

Umbarger is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance. He is said to have been last seen in Kokomo July 4 at 2 p.m.
