Severe weather threat ending across Michiana
SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Two people were injured during a shooting in South Bend on Sunday morning.
Police say the victims are in stable condition and recovering at a local hospital.
According to police, the shooting happened in the 1000 block of W. Colfax Ave. Upon arrival, police found a man and a woman in a van with gunshot wounds just down the road near the 1000 block of LaSalle and LaPorte Avenues. Police have identified the victims as a 16-year-old male and a 39-year-old female.
Police say they're still investigating, piecing together witness and victim statements, and evidence found at both scenes.
