Shakespeare performances at St. Joe County Public Library

South Bend Civic Theatre

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The South Bend Civic Theatre will perform Twelfth Night by William Shakespeare in the Pfeil Family Courtyard at the St. Joseph County Public Library on multiple dates.

Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs to sit on, as no formal seating will be provided.

General tickets are $25, and student priced tickets are $20. Tickets can be purchased here.

There will be multiple opportunities to watch the performances which will be June 28, 29, and 30 at 7 p.m., and July 11, 12,13, and 14 at 7 p.m.

The performance will be directed by Mark Pajor.

Twelfth Night plot:

Secrets, love triangles, yearnings from afar, and mistaken identities abound when twins Viola and Sebastian are separated during a shipwreck. Come see what hilarity and heartache ensues when Viola disguises herself as a boy for protection and employment in William Shakespeare’s comic tale.

There are limited spaces in the library parking lot, directly south of the library on Main Street and Western, that are available to attendees.

Street parking will be available as well.

You are asked to enter the courtyard from the south side of the building through the gate.
