Seven new Mishawaka Fire Department recruits sworn in Tuesday morning

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- The City of Mishawaka announced seven new Mishawaka Fire Department recruits were sworn in by Mayor Dave Wood at Board of Public Works and Safety meeting Tuesday.

The seven recruits include:

• Kolton Fairchild of Culver
• Hogan Geier of Mishawaka
• Ezekiel Jones from Florida
• Braxton Lentz of South Bend
• Jacob Lowman from New Carlisle
• Gabriel Thom from Indianapolis
• Patrick Wheetley from Southwest Michigan
