Section of Ireland Road to close Aug. 4 for water line work

ABC 57 SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The City of South Bend announced Irelands Road between Middleboro Street and Irish Hills Drive will be closed for water service line work starting on Aug. 4.
Detour routes include Ironwood Drive and Hickory Road via Inwood Road.
The closure is expected to last until the end of day Aug. 8, weather permitting.
