Section of Diamond Avenue to close for speed bump installation

ABC 57 SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Diamond Avenue between Portage and California Avenues will close Wednesday for speed bump installations.
South Bend officials expect the work to be done by end-of-day July 8, weather permitting.
During construction, the detour route will be Blaine and California Avenues.
Eastbound traffic on Vassar Avenue will detour south on Wilbur Street, east on Van Buren Street, north on Sancome Avenue, before continuing on California and Blaine Avenues before rejoining Portage Avenue.
